About us: Sucré Confectionery Hand-Crafted Chocolate Creations by Tatyana Antonyan
While working at Waterfront wines, one of the most prestigious fine dining restaurants in Kelowna, BC, I was striving for a change. I came across an ad on Indeed, which led me to discover a passion for chocolate art. I then spent one year at the award-winning Karat Chocolate and Pastry Boutique refining my skills as a chocolatier.
When COVID-19 happened, I moved to Ontario and started my own path. I use Fair Trade Certified, organic chocolate, the highest quality fruit purees from Valence, France, along with other fine ingredients.
The magic starts with sketching a design. That’s followed by time sensitive and consuming work with moulds. Finally, I use the science behind tempering chocolate on a marble slab, which involves a lot of patience and precision. And voilà! The end result is handcrafted bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars, and sculptures!
I am a perfectionist, so I put the best products out there that most people say are “too beautiful to eat”. My chocolates are immediately visually striking, but the real treat is when you experience the delicious and unforgettable flavours of my creations. I take pride in my work, and I love to see happy and ecstatic faces of my customers. After all, this is why I create my art!
